Today we are going to prepare a 4 XL cheeseburger. As you would expect from a burger, the preparation is quite easy. We used our new Charma Kaman 2-burger press made of silicone. With this you can quickly and easily make patties in different sizes. What do we need for this?
Ingredients
1000 grams | organic minced meat |
1 | Pack of Brioche Burger Buns from Rewe |
1 | jar of pickled burger cucumbers |
1 | head of lettuce |
1 | onion |
2 | tomatoes |
4 | slices of cheese |
1 | burger sauce |
1 | ketchup |
1 | mayonnaise |
Something | salt and pepper |
And this is what we are preparing:
We put the organic minced meat in a bowl and add sea salt and pepper. Then we mix the meat in the glass bowl with the spices and form the meat into 4 uniform canon balls. If you want smaller patties, simply form 6 canon balls of the same size.
We put the meatballs in the silicone mold and then press the lid on top. Now there are two options: the first option is to put the patties from the press directly onto the grill or we put them in the freezer for the next few days. I put the patties in the freezer and then took them out again after a few days to thaw.
Now we wash the lettuce and cut the onion and tomato into slices. The brioche burgers are cut in half and the grill is preheated to 250 degrees.
The patties go on the grill
The meat burgers from the freezer now go on the grill. After 20 minutes we have ready-made burger patties. We now put the brioche burger buns (here is a recipe for burger buns) on the grill. To round it all off, we put the cheese on the patties and then we can start preparing the 4 XL cheeseburgers.
