The perfect burger buns made from yeast dough don't have to be complicated. With the right tools, you can quickly conjure up a delicious cheeseburger. Here are our ingredients (for 2 people)

General ingredients (yeast dough - 6 burger buns)

400 grams Flour
30 grams fresh yeast
30 grams Sugar
30 grams olive oil
180 ml water (room temperature)
2 eggs for the dough
8 grams Salt

400 grams ground beef
10 grams Salt
10 grams fresh pepper

The burger dough

As already mentioned, a delicious burger is not rocket science. To make the yeast dough, we proceed as follows: First, we prepare a bowl. We add the flour and sugar to the bowl and stir it in gently with our hands. In a separate container, we can now stir in the eggs, water and olive oil with a whisk.

Now comes an important step. We stir in the liquid using a food processor or a hand mixer on a medium setting. NOTE: Please use the dough hook attachment for the yeast dough/not the whisk attachment, otherwise it will make a mess . Now stir in for two minutes.

In the last step of preparing the dough, we add the fresh yeast and salt and stir at 80% power of the kitchen appliance for about 4 minutes.

Let the dough rise

Now we put the bowl in the corner for an hour and let the dough work. The dough should more than double in size. We then take the dough out of the bowl and portion it into 6 equal portions. To do this, put a little flour in your hand and on the surface. We now put the dough into the burger bun molds / dessert rings - the burger rings have a diameter of 10 cm and are 4.5 cm high. P.S. We now cover the burger rings for another hour and let the dough rise again. To finish, we stir an egg in a bowl. We coat the burger buns with a little egg and sprinkle the sesame seeds on the blanks. This is what it looks like:

Bake

We preheated either the grill or the oven (convection) to 220-230° C. We put a pizza stone or a plancha plate (cast iron) on the grill. Then the perfect burger buns are placed in the heat for 12-13 minutes. Delicious, soft and warm:

The burger patties can be bought or homemade. If you want to make them yourself, it's also very quick and easy. Stir in the minced meat, salt and pepper and put it in the burger press. Then grill for about 6 minutes at 220 degrees and finally, for the last 2 minutes, put a slice of cheese on top.

On the taste: The taste of the traditional, classic gin combines notes such as juniper, cardamom and coriander with a good portion of Rottal. At the same time, it has a floral bouquet and is fresh and spicy, complex with bitter nuances. All in all, a delicious gin.
