Preparation:
- First, wash the chicken breast, dry it and cut it into cubes.
- Make a marinade from the "Arizona Chicken" rub and muscovado sugar by mixing both spices in equal parts with oil.
- Place the chicken in the marinade and let it sit for a few hours.
- Cut the onions into semicircular pieces.
- Cut the sucuk sausage into thick slices.
- Alternate chicken, onions and sucuk sausage on skewers.
- Mix the chimi churri with water and olive oil to make a marinade until it has a pesto-like consistency.
- Grill the skewers over medium heat until golden brown all over.
- Then place the skewers in the indirect area of the grill and finish cooking at 160 degrees.
The combination of spicy sucuk and tender chicken is simply unbeatable. The sweet muscovado sugar and the aromatic chimi churri complement the taste perfectly. If you like it a little spicier, you can also add some chili or cayenne pepper to the marinade.
French fries, a refreshing cucumber salad and a delicious tzatziki dip are suitable side dishes. This recipe is perfect for a cozy barbecue evening with friends or as a special culinary surprise for the family.
Bon appetit!
